With the New Year comes a change in the basic way the Creative Handbook website works. We’re offering all our account holders the opportunity to upload images of their work for free onto the site.
This added benefit is to help us build up the amount of content on the site ready for its re-launch in the coming months. The re-launch will see some changes to the layout of the website, and an increased focus on the various subject pages, such as photography, illustration and design.
For now, all you need to do is log into your account and follow the instructions for uploading images using the ‘Work’ tab. Be sure to assign appropriate keywords to all your images as this will help them appear in our image search.
Please be careful when uploading your work as you will not be able to change the pictures until its re-launch.
When the site is re-launched, we will be initiating a new cost model based on the amount of views images from individual accounts receive. A reasonable fixed number of views will be free, after which account holders will be contacted by one of our sales staff to see if they wish to continue with a presence on the site for the year that follows. If so, account holders will still be able to monitor exactly how many views an account receives, along with other actions performed on it such as users clicking through to listed websites.
These important changes to the site will be taking place soon, so if you wish to take advantage of the current period of grace, register now and start uploading your images. We will of course keep you informed as the time for the re-launch approaches.
