Prime Focus London is a visual effects, CGI, DI and telecine specialist catering to the international commercials, feature film, broadcast and music video industries.
Based in Soho, Prime Focus London is the European hub of a global operation, offering not only the services, skills and benefits that are expected from a market leading London post-production facility, but also a front door to the huge infrastructure and cost efficiencies which can be gained by using Prime Focus� international group of companies. The Prime Focus Group has facilities in Los Angeles and New York in the USA, Vancouver and Winnipeg in Canada, and Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad in India.
The newly refurbished UK facility boasts 12 VFX suites (Flame and Smoke), each using the latest Autodesk 2007 kit and extensively supported by Fusion workstations. VTR�s esteemed team of colourists, known for their grading expertise and DI (digital intermediate) experience, have a dedicated floor within the London facility offering three Spirit telecine suites (including one at 4K) and a Baselight digital grading system, which allows the team to run a true 2K �realtime� workflow. Prime Focus London�s CG team is in very high demand, and currently comprises 40 CG animation artists.
