About Us

I create award winning bespoke music and sound design for independent animation, advertising, broadcast, film and web.

I graduated with a Diploma in Musical Composition from Folkwang Hochschule and occasionally freelanced for other music production companies, including Adelphoimusic London/Berlin and Qdepartment New York. Since 2007 i work remotely from my studio (or on location if needed) with production companies and animation studios from europe and the US like Buck, Duke, Peppermelon and The Ebelling Group and a few other clients. My recent collaboration with David O'Reilly on the animated short Please Say Something won the "Golden Bear" at Berlinale 2009, "Best German Film" at Oberhausen 2009 and "Special Distinction" at Annecy 2009.

I am member of the german performance rights organisation GEMA and since 2008 i am listed in Motionographer's "Cream O' The Crop" as one of the top 20 Music & Sound Design Studios worldwide.

BIOGRAPHY:

1982 - Born in Hamburg Germany.
2004 - Study of Electronic Composition at ICEM, Folkwang Hochschule Essen, Germany.
2005 - First concert performances of my compositions (Essen Philharmonic, Musicacoustica Beijing...)
2006 - Bachelor of Electronic Composition at ICEM.
2007 - Freelance composer and sound designer for Adelphoimusic London/Berlin.
2007 - Launch of KAMP music & sound design.
