About Us
Sarah Gooch is a freelance illustrator whose distinctive style uses layers of collage, painting, line drawing and photographic digital techniques to build up striking imagery.
Her inspirations include history, especially the ever changing urban landscape of London, fashion, music, cinema, art galleries and a love of books and magazines. Sarah loves all things decorative, with pattern being a major part of her work.
Sarah has a passion for printmaking and enjoys creating colourful original screen prints. Collage has always been at the heart of her work so the process of building up an image from a variety of elements on the screen is an exciting way to work and often leads to unexpected results.
Sarah’s work is featured in The Big Book of Contemporary Illustration by Martin Dawber, published in autumn 2009 and has been selected for the Association of Illustrator’s Images Exhibition for the past two years.
