About Us
Joseph was born in London and studied Modern Languages at the University of Cambridge and the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. After university he assisted advertising photographers in London and Paris, and since 2004 he has divided his time between the UK and France, working on advertising and editorial commissions for British, French and international clients. He has a house in Brighton and a flat in Paris but lives mostly in airports.
Much of Joseph's work is on location, and he loves the challenges this brings. Recent commissions have involved shooting from helicopters in Monaco and Mauritius, climbing mountains in the dark in the quest for the perfect dawn shot in Spain, and learning to scuba dive for an underwater shoot for a worldwide advertising campaign for the luxury hotel chain, Beachcomber.
Recent clients include Drinkaware, SNCF, Air Canada, American Express, Beachcomber Hotels, Disney, Decathlon, with agencies including DDB, TBWA, BETC Euro RSCG, Young & Rubicam, Lowe Strateus, BFDG New York.
Joseph has just been selected for Luerzer's Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers 09/10.
