About Us

Matthew Murray works primarily on self initiated projects with a view towards
exhibition and publication.

Murray also receives commissions from major advertising agencies in the UK and abroad.

Clients include:

M&C Saatchi, Saatchi and Saatchi, Ogilvy, TBWA, Leo Burnetts, Fallon, BBDO/CLM Paris. Clients include Sony Playstation, Abbey, Royal Bank of Scotland, BBC, Ask Jeeves, Shreddies, e-on who sponsor the English FA Cup, through TBWA. Shot editorial and fashion features for i-D magazine, Benetton COLORS Magazine and dwell in San Francisco to name a few. Alongside these commercial projects, works on a number personal projects which have been exhibited in the UK and Internationally in either solo or group shows. Work has been exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery London, The Photographers gallery, London, Huiis Marseille, Foundation for Photography, Amsterdam, Walsall Museum and Art Gallery, Walsall England, Paris Photo, Paris, France, Les Recontres D'Arles Photographie, Arles, France. In December 2007 selection of work exhibited at Liangzou Festival, China. In June '08, 4 photographs chosen to be exhibited in the 'Through the Lens' Exhibition at The Royal West of England Academy, Bristol.

Since completing a number of high end advertising campaigns at the end of '07 and into '08 travelled around North America and Europe shooting new personal work.
