About Us

We're an independent design group with an international network of studios, with around 100 people worldwide. We're small enough to really know each other, and so work together seamlessly. Our intimate size means we get on personally with clients, wherever they are in the world. We also have the agility to regroup as one to meet any global challenge.

We have all sorts of clients. From big, blue-chip multinationals to colourful start-ups.

We brand big ideas. This involves thinking a lot before we going anywhere near a pencil. First, we invest serious time fishing for the insights we need to guide us. This can involve a lot of different things - desk research, immersing ourselves in the lives of consumers, revisiting corporate objectives, looking around plants and factories. Then we use a whole set of conceptual tools, both analytical and creative, to help us come up with the big ideas so critical to what we do. In short, we think big in order to deliver big.

Why do we put so much emphasis on thinking? Because we believe that there should be a simple, powerful idea at the heart of every great brand. A big idea is an emotionally engaging concept which lends itself to graphic expression. So we've made big ideas the focus of everything we do.

We also realise that for a brand to really engage with customers, the idea at its core must be flexible and robust enough to work across all media, not just those we specialise in. So we never do anything until we're confident we've found an idea that can work across all media. You can always be confident we are mindful of the greater objectives of your brand, beyond the media we specialise in.

We don't have a catchy design philosophy. We don't have a restrictive house style like others do, because we understand that each brand merits a tailored, creative approach to reflect the marketing challenge in hand. If this amounts to a design philosophy, then great. What we care about are results.

We excel creatively and we've got the awards to prove it, too. But that's not good enough. We always balance unbridled creativity with an acute awareness of business reality. What we strive for is design that is both commercially effective and creatively excellent. This is what we mean by landing big ideas.
